More info...
We are inspired by a simple idea: let's use the internet to listen.
For example we believe that we can help decision making and create informed discussion by letting you hear the views of others.
This is a free service and the number of participants is limited to 100.
However, we can provide a more comprehensive service with the following advantages:
- An unlimited number of participants (within reason)
- Participant tracking to ensure there is no multiple voting (for the free service we rely on cookies)
- Adding participant descriptors. This will enable you to classify voting by participant characteristics such as age, gender, etc.
- You will be able to download results as an excel spreadsheet
- We can also limit the information that is visible to others to ensure
confidentiality and to enable you to plan a communication policy
- We can provide a statistical analysis service (sampling advice, graphical presentations, regression analysis, interpretation, insight)

Help
Create a new poll
To start a poll check the "Create a new poll" box and the system will open a screen allowing you to enter a question and provide voting
alternatives. You also have to set how long you want the poll to stay open: you may want an immediate response from a few people, or
you may want to give an extended audience time to learn about the poll and think about it. After you click "Save"
the system will display a password which you can send to your chosen participants allowing them to access the vote screen.
Cast a vote
In order to vote check the "Cast a vote" box when you will be asked to enter the poll password. You can then vote on the question by
allocating 5 points between the alternatives. You can give all 5 points to one alternative or spread them more
evenly, but they must add up to 5. This voting method allows you to express degrees of preference.
You can change your votes up to the vote deadline.
View a report
Once the voting deadline is passed everyone can see the final result by checking the "View a Report" box and entering the poll password
(if you are the initiator you can see the report at any time). The report provides some basic statistics including a histogram on
how people have distributed their points and the level of "decideness". If everyone allocates all 5 points to one item, irrespective of what it is,
the decidedness is high, if everyone spreads their votes evenly the decidedness is low.
For the free version we only report on the first hundred participants. If you want to extend this please click "More Info..."
